In a unique location, just 100 metres from the beach, forest and dunes, Hotel Meyer was founded in 1968. In 1969, the hotel was opened with 19 rooms, 2 apartments, a bar and a restaurant. In 1974, the hotel was expanded through the purchase of a building. This added 10 rooms and 1 conference room. In 1986, the hotel expanded even further. This space was built in 1999. The hotel now consists of 36 rooms, 8 apartments and 2 conference rooms, a bar and a restaurant. From 7 July 2025, Hotel Meyer will continue under a different name. Beach Hotel Bergen aan Zee.
